Here we are, already heading through the month of July, with both Canada Day on the 1st and our southern neighbour’s Independence Day, on the 4th, now behind us.

This week is our church’s Soccer Bible Camp, which Judy has organized and directed for about twenty years now. We go from a small, local church with only a dozen school age kids to a church filled with kids from everywhere! The interesting thing is that some of the kids that started attending every year when they were only five are now back, and, in some cases, bringing their own kids! It’s a really busy week for a second reason, too: Nova Voce leaves to do a performance tour of the mid-Atlantic United States on Friday morning, which means for the first time since she started the Soccer Bible Camp all those many years ago, Judy will not be there for the final day.

If you’re in the US, Nova Voce will be singing our way through Pennsylvania, Virginia, North Carolina and the District of Columbia between July 10th and 19th. We’ll be performing songs of the sea, songs from of the Atlantic Provinces; songs ranging from classics through Broadway to folk and gospel and all points in between. You might even find us singing in Russian or Latin ‘twixt and ‘tween our offerings in English.

Please keep us in your thoughts as we hit the road to sing in new places and enjoy your summer, wherever you are!
